The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft
The War Within introduced Valorstones, and Harbinger Crests as two currencies to upgrade equipment. They can be exchanged at the item upgrader NPCs, Cuzolth and Vaskarn.
Each item may be upgraded to the maximum level once for one slot. Upgrades to the slot are cheaper following. The pity system that was introduced with The War Within, also reduces the extreme variance of upgrades.
Upgrades

Upgrades are components that improve performance or add new functionality. They can be bought or earned through various ways, such as in-game events and cash shop items.
Cases gg are only available to specific items. Unlike enchantments which can be added to anything they can only be applied to the item they are connected to. A weapon that is already equipped can't have an upgrade applied. Certain items can be upgraded multiple times, providing a greater benefit to the user.
Upgrades are a fairly new mechanic that was introduced in patch 4.1.0. The upgrade system allows players to fuse additional improvements to equipment to boost its power, from simple boosts in strength to major damage and defense boosts. Upgrades are grouped into tracks and each track has its own limits on how high an item can be upgraded. These limits are intended to stop players from flooding low keystone dungeons to get equipment, only to upgrade it all the way up.
The gear that can be upgraded includes armor, weapons, and consumables. The majority of gear is upgraded as it drops however, some items (such as Ornn's gear, or the infant Dracolich pet) cannot be upgraded. The gear can be upgraded by purchasing an upgrade recipe from the vendor and combining it with the item in the appropriate upgrade slot. The icon of the item or the search in the shop will show the number of upgrades that item of equipment is equipped with.
The upgrade system has two major drawbacks. First, it can be difficult to determine what items are eligible for upgrade because upgrade vendors may not display them all. In addition, the upgrade textures are rendered above the item model which can obscure the enchantment glint as well as other details.
Another disadvantage is that upgrades are expensive. Each step in a gear's level of improvement costs a specific amount of Valorstones, or crests, based on the slot and level. Weapons typically require more crests and Valorstones to upgrade than bracers or gloves for instance. There are however a few cash shop items that can help lower the cost of upgrading.
Recycle
Many are rethinking their buying habits as they become more conscious of the environmental impacts of single-use products. Some are purchasing high-end products that last longer or reusing their old gadgets as a workaround. Some consumers are focusing on recycled products and search for the highest percentage of recycled content when making purchases. This will hopefully reduce the amount of resources required to extract and produce new materials, and create an environment that is more sustainable.
Recycling is an integral aspect of this process and it's now much easier for consumers to find. Many items, such as furniture and paper, contain recycled materials. These products are made from re-used or discarded materials. You can purchase them on the internet or in a store. These products aren't only more eco-friendly and cost less, but they're also more affordable than comparable products.
As an item levels up it also receives bonuses, in addition to its main stat boost. These bonuses are determined by its tier, and can vary from one type of bonus to another. The higher the tier, the more bonuses you will receive.
As the global economy shifts from extracting resources to recycling and reusing increasing numbers of companies are making promises to create products that are more sustainable. Many are focused on recycling materials and providing incentives to customers who recycle their products. As the demand for sustainable products grows, we will likely see more recycled products in shops and on the shelves.
Rerolls
Rerolling is an essential tool in Genshin Impact, or any other gacha game. It allows players to re-try their chances of getting a particular weapon or character they prefer to have for aesthetic reasons or because they feel that it would fit well on their team.
Rerolls work by allowing players to refresh their items that are available for the current wave in exchange for a small amount materials. Prices for these weapons rise as the number of rerolls grows, but some items may not be available (for instance, characters who only use weapons with range won't see an item that is melee).
When an item levels up it is able to enter the Staple Pool where it gains additional bonuses. These bonuses are based on the kind of item it is. For instance an upgrade that increases a weapon’s main stat can also boost its other stats. If the item is rerolled the additional stats will change.
If a player has enough stamina to complete a reroll they can hit a button that has the arrows that circle to swap their current item for a new one. The new item is of the same level of play, but different bonuses depending on the type of item it was, such as the book, sword, gun or watch.
Rerolling an item doesn't alter its current bonus levels, however a player may still be required to meet minimum stat requirements for its special ability. This can make it difficult to get a high-level item that has the bonus they want however it allows players to look for a different option in the future without having to invest more resources.
The item will get a tier bonus, which will guarantee that it will receive a certain amount of stats in the near future. It is important to upgrade your gear as far as you can, as any further upgrades will not change the outcome.
Sets
A set is a group of items that are connected by a particular property. They are commonly used in mathematics and can be represented as . Sets have many important properties, such as the associative property and the commutative property. These properties are important to understand how sets function and are applicable to real-world situations.
Sets of items can be upgraded for extra bonuses in the game. A set of armor pieces can increase the armor's defense, while a weapon can offer additional damage base. These additional stats are applied following the base stat of the item, and prior to the flats and percentages. These additional stats can be an excellent way to increase value.
When an item is upgraded it will replace the base stat with the new one. For instance, an item that had 20 base damage is now sporting 40 base damage. It will also preserve the previous armor value and upgrade requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase an elite item for a low cost.
Upgrades of unique items are extremely profitable, especially when they come with an interesting modification. For instance, a rare belt that has +5 IAS could have a significant impact on the strength of a building especially in early hell. It's an excellent way to increase the value of an item by adding the perfect or high roll.
Item Upgraders are different for unique, set, and rare items. After the item reaches level 10, it will typically be upgraded to its base type. An upgrade of a unique armor item that has the highest defense will result in a similar type of base for an armor item that is elite. This isn't a guarantee, and in some cases an upgrade may not change the item type.
It is recommended to upgrade your BiS (Best in Slot) before moving onto non-BiS items. This will ensure that players have an excellent foundation to build on when leveling up, and can focus on boosting their tiers and gaining extra stats.
